To celebrate the club’s fourth title in five years, City is taking the Premier League trophy back on the road to meet fans around the world, presented by Official Club Partner OKX.
The tour sees the trophy travel across the globe, stopping off in the United States, Spain, Japan, UAE, Korea and, for the first time ever, Mexico, Norway and South Africa.
This year’s tour begins in south west France, with City defender and Spain international Laporte also making an appearance at a special, free to attend event in his hometown.
The 28-year-old played a vital role in helping Pep Guardiola’s men claim the title, featuring 33 times in the Premier League as we finished the campaign with the best defensive record in the division.
And fans will have the opportunity to celebrate our latest title triumph with Laporte at the event, which takes place on Friday 8 July.
Getting under way at 17:00 (CET), the City defender is set to arrive at around 17:45 and will take part in a signing session with supporters.
From 19:00, the Spanish international will then join the Mayor of Agen to announce the unveiling of a local pitch, which is being named in Laporte’s honour.
Further information can be accessed across the coming days and fans can keep up to date with all the details at www.mancity.com/trophytour and via the Club’s social media platforms.
