In San Diego for the Manchester City Cup, local Supporters Club members were delighted to be able to see the trophy in person.
Kristi, the branch’s Chair, admitted that she was shocked to have the opportunity.
“How do you describe the feeling of having the Premier League trophy sitting in your garden?” she started.

“It’s utterly surreal. I’ve been lucky to see the trophy on several occasions in Manchester, New York and LA but when it’s sitting in your own yard it’s a VERY different experience and one I’m so glad I got to share with so many dear friends in the San Diego branch of the Official Supporters Club.
“I can never thank Manchester City enough for making that happen.”
Leo, a member of the branch was also thrilled to see the trophy in San Diegio.
“When I visited Manchester, one of the reasons I wanted to visit was to watch City at the Etihad and to tour the stadium to look at the trophies including the Premier League,” he said.
“The fact that the Premier League trophy was in San Diego and we, the Official Supporters Club, had a private viewing of it was unbelievable. Thank you so much.”
