After almost a week in Hong Kong, we will then head to the Korean capital for games against a K League All Stars side and Atletico Madrid.
It marks our first appearance in the country since 2023, when we also played Diego Simeone’s Spanish giants.

That game was played out in front of a sea of sky blue shirts at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and Minjune Kim expects similar this time around.
Formed only 15 months ago, the branch already has a whopping 317 members.
That proves the strength of feeling for City in South Korea, says Kim.
“When City visited Seoul after winning the historic Treble in 2023, the excitement around the club made an already hot summer in our city even more unforgettable,” he said.
“Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there because I was away on a family holiday. This time, though, I’m determined not to miss it.
“I’m really looking forward to welcoming City back to Seoul and creating unforgettable memories alongside the team and fellow supporters.”
Remembering his first steps into supporting City, Kim says it’s not the incredible haul of silverware in recent years that attracted him.
“It wasn’t just because City won trophies or had world-class players; there was simply something about the club that drew me in,” he said.
“I was especially attracted to the club’s iconic sky blue colours, and the fact that City represents the English football culture I’ve always admired made me feel an even stronger connection.”

The branch are one of more than 400 around the world, who all support City and gather together to share their passion.
“At Seoul OSC, we organize official matchday watch parties at venues such as cinemas and cafés, giving our supporters the chance to come together and enjoy City matches as one community,” said Kim.
“One matchday that really stands out was our very first watch party for the 2023/2024 FA Cup Final against Manchester United.
“Although the result didn’t go our way, it was a special occasion because it marked the beginning of our journey as a supporters’ club, and it remains a truly memorable day for all of us.”
Kim also emphasises just how important supporting City has become for him.
“Ever since I became a City fan at the age of 11, the club has been a huge part of my life,” he said.
“Over the past 11 years, supporting City has inspired me to understand football on a much deeper level.
“It motivated me to study the game, and today my dream is to become either a football journalist covering Manchester City or a columnist analysing the team’s performances. Being a City fan has also become a big part of my identity.
“Among my friends and the people around me, I’m known as “the City fan”—when they think of Manchester City, they think of me.
“Through the OSC and by supporting and discussing City’s matches, I’ve also made many great friends from different regions whom I probably wouldn’t have met otherwise.”
