Organised by the branch, over 100 members attended in Gangnam, Seoul, as well as other fans and Korean influencers.
Prizes were also awarded to supporters during half-time, including pre-match jackets and scarves.
Established in 2019, the Seoul OSC now boasts almost 200 members.
Given the time difference between South Korea and England, matches are often too late for the group to watch live, but they aim to gather a few times per season to cheer City on together.
And that was the case for our victory over Jurgen Klopp’s men, sealed thanks to goals from Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish.
Seong-Woo Joo, member of the branch, said of the screening: “We turned Seoul blue. You can feel like you’re at Etihad Stadium.
“When the goals were scored, the atmosphere was so passionate.”
Sung-Jun Kim, Vice Chair of the branch added: “It’s so fun and great to be supporters in Korea for a fantastic team.
“We are even more happy that the club recognized us like this.”
