Matias Bonanno has already qualified for the event following his Dreamhack Summer triumph in June. And his Man City Esports team-mate will be looking to follow suit with two final spots up for grabs at the Last Chance Qualifier this weekend.
Here is everything you need to know about Tekkz in the Last Chance Qualifier...
Tekkz is one of 28 invited players with the rest of the 128 contestants filled by open registration slots. The pros been split into four groups of 32 players and the top four from each group will progress to the Playoffs which will take place on Monday 12 August.
The double elimination brackets means Tekkz will have two opportunities to qualify.
Drawn in Group 3, Tekkz will compete on Sunday 11 August and his journey will begin with a clash against A_ikarus7 at around 16:00 (UK).
If Tekkz wins all his games - all of which will be a best of one, nine minute halves - in the group stage, four matches, he will qualify for the Playoffs.
And the quickest way to secure one of the two final spots up for grabs, another four wins would see him win the Last Chance Qualifier.
Everyone at Manchester City would like to wish Tekkz the best of luck competing!
