A prize pot of $250,000 (~£203,000) is up for grabs at each event, with the top 10 duos from each competition also securing qualification to Gamers8’s recently announced $2m (~£1.6m) tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later this year.
And Man City Threats’ success in San Diego means he and ‘Kwanti’ have booked their place at the showpiece occasion while also taking home $45,000 as a duo.
They’ll be hoping to go one better in No build at this year’s event having finished second last time, while we also grabbed fourth spot in builds at Gamers8 2022.
Man City Skram and Trippernn finished 20th in San Diego, but still have opportunities to qualify for Saudi Arabia when they take part in Dallas and Sweden.
