As part of City's Premier League Trophy Tour, Club legend Paul Dickov met members from two Official Supporters Clubs in China.

The tour allows the Club to celebrate our most recent Premier League triumph with fans around the world.

One of the main focuses of each stop surrounds our Official Supporters Clubs around the world, and our latest trip was no different.

The Beijing and Shanghai OSCs are the two biggest in China, with the two groups sharing almost 800 members between them.

And the Club visited both major cities to share in last season’s Premier League success.

Starting in Beijing, over 250 fans were in attendance - 120 OSC members amongst them - met Dickov and had their photo taken with the Premier League trophy at the Puma store.

It proved to be a huge success, with 100 new members requests coming in for the Beijing OSC on the day.

A trip to the Beijing Official Supporters Club venue in the centre of the city followed, with Dickov and the trophy joined by over 100 members.

Chris, the Chairman of the Beijing branch said: “As a big fan in China, I am very happy that the club was able to arrange the trophy tour in China.

“I want to say thanks to the club for taking Beijing as the first stop of the tour. It is my honour to be part of the trophy tour. Through this activity, many City fans scattered among the people were absorbed and became a member of the Official Supporters Club.

“There are many young fans that have been brought by their parents to participate in activities. They are our future and hope. I’ve been doing this for 11 years, and every time I see a trophy in person, it gives me motivation to keep going.

“Also, it was so great to meet our club legend Paul Dickov after almost four years, he was so kind and never said no to the fans who wanted to take selfies with him, what a great memory for fans in Beijing to experience such a great tour!”

Like Beijing, City also visited the Puma store in Shanghai.

Over 350 fans in attendance, including 80 members of the Shanghai Official Supporters Club branch there.

Dickov once again took time to meet supporters and sign shirts, before an official visit to the OSC the following day.

The Shanghai OSC is the first to have a venue operated and managed by the branch itself, with Paul taken on a tour of the venue by Vicky, the Chairperson, before meeting the 120 members there.

And a memorable stretch of the Trophy Tour was wrapped up in the best possible fashion, with a match screening of City’s 4-1 Premier League triumph against Liverpool.

Along with the match, fans once again had the opportunity to take a photo with the trophy, while Paul also held a talk on stage.

On the trip, Shanghai branch chair Vicky thanked the Club for organising the visit.

“The trophy tour and meeting Paul has already been amazing for most of City supporters in Shanghai, but the best part of the day was of course watching City beat Liverpool 4-1. There was nothing like celebrating City’s goals with everyone!

“The trophy tour event has left a deep impression on every Shanghai Cityzen. We hope we will continue to welcome Manchester City in a very near future! Shanghai is Blue, just like Manchester!”
