In our second stop of City’s 4-In-A-Row Trophy Tour, the Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup and Community Shield travelled to Tokyo, Japan.

To begin the tour, the trophies featured in a bespoke photoshoot in the wonderful Shiba Park, next to Tokyo Tower.

Locals and travelling City fans got to watch on before getting the opportunity to have a picture with the Club’s latest cohort of silverware.

More on our 2024/25 Trophy Tour

Also on Friday, a Coach Education Day saw hundreds of players and coaches enjoy a Manchester City-led session at the MIFA Football Park before more fans joined together at the Shibuya Stream Hall the next day and were joined by Moonchester and Moonbeam.

On Saturday evening, Cityzens came together to show support for Pep Guardiola‘s team in a screening of our Premier League home tie against Brentford.

Former Blue Shaun Wright-Phillips was in Tokyo with the 4-In-A-Row Trophy Tour and he picked four of his favourite moments from the past weekend in Japan.

DEFINITELY CITY

The launch of our Definitely City collection saw the kit showcased at the iconic Shibuya scramble crossing. Shaun Wright-Phillips was on hand to provide his modelling skills to flaunt the new range.

And the fans in Japan took the kit by storm with the collection selling out at the local PUMA store on the first day of the kit launch.

SUSHI CHALLENGE

Wright-Phillips visited a sushi restaurant to challenge social media icon and renowned sushi chef Ikechef to a sushi-making challenge, after some lessons in how to make sushi.

SCREENING EVENT

Including our brand-new feature to the Trophy Tour, our Boot Room, the trophies, PUMA pop-up and more were all on hand for fans to interact with during our screening of the Brentford game.

Wright-Phillips and Moonchester got to meet hundreds of fans before they cheered on the boys in Blue together in the Shibuya Stream Hall to top off a fantastic day filled of City-centric fun!

OFFICIAL SUPPORTERS CLUB

To complete the 4-In-A-Row Trophy Tour to Tokyo, a local OSC got the chance to spend more time with Wright-Phillips and our three incredible trophies before taking part in a five-a-side football match.

After a fantastic time in Tokyo, next up is Delhi, India.
