Our Walk to the Match project is in place for all weekend matches, providing entertainment and safety while getting from the city centre to the match.
Having worked closely with Manchester City Council, we have devised an improved designated walking route from the heart of Manchester to the Etihad.
As well as offering a sustainable and healthy alternative way to get to matches, there will be plenty of entertainment for fans that come along, including face painting and a marching band.
Having initially been introduced in 2019, the scheme proved popular until the Covid-19 pandemic forced games to be played behind closed doors.
It returned for the New Year’s Eve fixture with Everton and we are delighted it will remain for every upcoming weekend match including our clash with Aston Villa this Sunday.
Supporters can meet on Pollard Street opposite the Ibis hotel from 15.15 (UK) where there will be live music from a brass band, face painters and Playmakers to lead the way. The walk will begin at 15.25 and will end at City Square ahead of kick off at 16.30.
