The Young Leaders – from Manchester, Melbourne, Mumbai, New York City and Bandung – spent the week developing as community football coaches at City Football Schools and enjoyed many highlights of what Abu Dhabi has to offer as a leading cultural destination.
A standout moment of the experience was a visit to Etihad Airways HQ for an interactive workshop on leadership inspired by the airline’s ‘Grow with Etihad – Leadership Excellence Programme’.
Reflecting on the whole experience, Selva, one of the Young Leaders from Mumbai, India, said: “The Etihad Youth Leadership Experience has been incredible. I feel so inspired by the Young Leaders I have met from around the world, and I have developed so much as a coach from my time at City Football Schools.
“It was my first time flying, which was an amazing experience! I want to fly again and hope to have more opportunities like this in the future. Thank you – I enjoyed it so much!”
The trip also brought together representatives from four City Football Group clubs: Manchester City, Melbourne City, New York City and Mumbai City.
