Every match, fans enjoy their culinary delights at the Etihad Stadium but Manchester City’s catering partner, Fabulous Fan Fayre (F3) have pledged their commitment to the Club’s community ethos.

Last night in BT City Square, we were excited to announce that throughout the season, they’ve been piloting an initiative that’ll see a percentage of their revenue donated to local charities.

You may have already seen them hard at work but M23 food concession stall (located by Block 137) has been taken over by volunteers from the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. They’ve been fully trained by F3 and are the ones serving your scrumptious food and providing first class customer service.

Jamie Oliver said: “There are two things I’m truly passionate about – food and making a difference. This initiative will not only raise vital funds to local good causes but will raise awareness for the incredible work they do 365 days a year. Make sure you visit M23 today and help make a difference to Manchester.”

Kirsty Ashman, Head of HR Fabulous Fan Fayre said: “This initiative is not taking place anywhere else in the UK so we’re excited to be bringing it to the Etihad Stadium.  We’ve been blown away by the passionate volunteers at RMCH.

“They’ve shown real commitment to raising as much money as they can for a cause close to their hearts. We’re now calling on even more charities and good causes who’d like to be a part of this unique fundraising experience to get in touch so we can help even more people in the community next season.”

Joel Oxberry, Corporate & Individual Fundraising Manager for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity said: “Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity is proud to be working in conjunction with Fabulous Fan Fayre on what is a revolutionary volunteering opportunity.

“It is a great way for individuals wishing to volunteer their time to help raise vital funds for enhancing treatment, care and research at the largest children’s hospital in the UK. What’s more the volunteers really enjoy themselves.”

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity is raising money to ensure continued excellence in treatment, care and research at the hospital – improving the lives of thousands of children each year from across the region.
