Not sure what to do after your GCSE’s?

If you dream of a career in sport and have a passion for the beautiful game, then City in the Community have the perfect opportunity for you.

Open to current year 11 students, this two year BTEC Level 3 diploma in sport, offers you the opportunity to gain a qualification equivalent to three A Levels whilst developing your football talent and skills.

Throughout the course, you will study a variety of academic topics, including anatomy, physiology, coaching, psychology, analysis, and technical and tactical development.

Away from these modules, you will work with UEFA B qualified coaches from Manchester City’s foundation, City in the Community on a technical, practical based training programme.

As part of the course, you will also have the opportunity to volunteer on some of the foundation’s award winning community projects and compete in weekly match fixtures, with chance to attend both local and international tournaments.

This BTEC course is ideal for those wishing to progress to higher education to study a sport related degree such as coaching, sports development or sports science.
