Earlier this season, Manchester City teamed up with long-term partner SAP in a bid to discover Community Heroes from around the world and now three finalists have the chance to win a life-changing volunteering trip with Cityzens Giving.
Meet our third finalist: Tanmay from Pune, India.
Tanmay is the founding member and Chairperson of the Official Manchester City Supporters Club based in Pune, India. His vision is to contribute towards the development of a footballing culture in the city and its community.
Tanmay’s commitment, however, goes far beyond football. After the devastating Kerala floods in 2018 he spearheaded a donation campaign with the Supporters Club to help those affected.
He also regularly mobilizes the Supporters Club for further local initiatives including organizing food donations for the underprivileged and football training for local young people.
Tanmay was nominated by fellow City fan, Shreyas, to celebrate how he unites Manchester City fans to have a positive impact on the community in Pune.
City fans around the world have until midnight on Friday 31st May to cast their vote via the Cityzens portal.
The top voted Community Hero and their nominator will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent Manchester City and SAP on an international volunteering trip to Bangkok with Cityzens Giving.
They will then fly to meet some of their own heroes from the reigning Premier League Champions, Manchester City, on their pre-season tour.
