The sessions have been organised in partnership with Greater Manchester Police and Tameside council, and have been funded by New Charter Housing Trust.
The aim of the sessions has been to reduce anti-social behaviour in the area by rewarding good behaviour and also to encourage young people to work more closely with the police.
As well as having free football sessions, the young people have also had the chance to attend a home game at the City of Manchester Stadium.
CITC coach Mike Geary, who has been working with the young people each week said: “The sessions have been really successful, with the young people working well together and with the police.”
Many of the young people have now gone on to join the newly formed Dukinfield Rangers who are sponsored by New Charter Housing Association.
