During the months of September and November, City in the Community Foundation staff will be taking the Premier League Trophy and the Community Shield where pupils and staff will have the opportunity to have pictures taken with both trophies.
The tour began on 11 September and the lucky school which was first to receive the trophies was Piper Hill Specialist Support School in Whythenshawe - where CITC deliver their One City Disability Programme.
We have very strong links with City in the Community and we were delighted to receive these trophies for an hour,” said Jonno Curtis, Sports Coordinator at Piper Hill.
The young people had an amazing time and couldn’t believe they had the chance to have a picture with the silverware!

The tour will now continue on and visit two schools per day throughout the coming months where over 700 young people a day will get the chance to hear about the trophies and have an unforgettable picture taken which they can treasure for a life time.
This once again highlights Manchester City Football Club’s commitment to share the club’s success with the local community and congratulate the local people on their terrific support throughout the years.
