Manchester City’s arrival in LA has provided another opportunity to witness the global effect of the Club’s community work.

City in the Community coaches have returned to a pitch in East LA, which was built by the Club and the United Arab Emirates Embassy in 2011, to deliver training to the next generation of community football leaders.

Ensuring City’s community impact continues to be felt in the City of Angels, coaches delivered both classroom and on-the-pitch session to develop 30 youngsters’ leadership and coaching skills.

Club partner, Nexen Tire, supported the sessions at the East Los Angeles Club for Girls and Boys, which further strengthened the Blues’ connection with this area.

Supported by City in the Community coaches, the youngsters shared experiences and developed knowledge, which will help them utilise football to inspire local children.
