I’m Mancunian born and bred. I live in the city centre now but my family is from Salford/Prestwich. I’ve been a City fan since I was old enough to go to games. When I was about five or six, I went to my first game with my dad. I can remember it. I stood in the Kippax but I didn’t like standing – I was really tiny! – so we went in the North Stand, then the Family Stand. I was hooked from that first game and I’ve had a season ticket pretty much ever since.

All my family are Blues. I still go to the game with my dad – it was never an issue that I was a girl. I’m an only child so I didn’t really have a choice in the matter… but I’m glad. I have some brilliant memories from my childhood, especially when it comes to going to games with my dad. My mum is into football too – she loves it and she comes to games when she can, as she works.

I love football – it’s a massive part of my life. I don’t even know what it is I fell in love with. I love going to every game with my dad and spending every Saturday or Sunday with him, having a laugh. I’m hoping we’re going to retain the title next season and I’d like to go further in the Champions League, improving on the double.

The best day of any Blues’ life is going to be 93:20 but I have a funny story about when my dad lost me at Wembley in 1999! I was about 12. My mum had warned him before we left not to lose me and he kept saying he wouldn’t and that he wasn’t stupid!

We got split up during the celebrations – a random man picked me up and put me onto his shoulders and then people started to walk out. When he put me down, I couldn’t find my dad. Obviously, it was the days before mobile phones. I was the last person at Wembley, walking around and I started crying. A policeman found me and took me to a police station nearby and rang my mum. I think she thought I’d been held to ransom! She always says she’ll never forget the phone call…

I work at a cosmetic dental practice, handling all the consultations for cosmetic treatments. I actually work between two practices.

I started working in dentistry when I was 16. I went in for a check-up and walked out with a job! While I was there, I’d noticed there wasn’t a dental nurse and asked the hygienist about it. He explained they were short-staffed and asked me whether I wanted a job! I said yes and quit college, and I’ve been there ever since – I’m 31 now. I started off as a dental nurse and worked my way up from there.

I’d say I’m loud and outgoing – I’m not really shy. I’d describe myself as a happy person, especially when City are winning! I love my life. Outside of football, I really like going to the gym – I’m really into fitness and healthy eating and going to watch City!

My biggest influences are my mum and dad. My mum always tells me never to argue with anyone about football, politics or religion! It’s mainly football that I argue about!
