Fourteen players have signed scholarships with Manchester City ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Joel Ndala, Jahmai Simpson Pusey, Justin Oboavwoduo, Isaiah Dada-Mascoll, Lakyle Samuel, Michael Okeke, True Grant, Alfie Harrison, Ashton Muir, Charlie Gray, Ezra Carrington, Jaden Heskey, Sebastian Naylor and Jacob Wright all penned full-time agreements with the Club this summer.

They are the latest batch of players to be promoted to the Under-18 side and have begun pre-season training with Lead Coach Ben Wilkinson ahead of the new Under-18 Premier League campaign.

The group, all of whom played for City last season, finalised their deals in front of their family and friends at the Academy’s scholar signing event.

Held at the City Football Academy, the annual event is a milestone moment in our young players’ careers, marking their first steps into full-time football.

Academy Director Jason Wilcox led proceedings, explaining to the players and their families what they can expect from the scholarship programme.

Several other key figures from within the Club were also present, including City legend and Club Ambassador Mike Summerbee and Managing Director of Global Football, Brian Marwood, who presented the players with their scholar’s caps.
