Ben Wilkinson’s side, who are aiming to be crowned champions for a record fourth successive year, are back in action live on CITY+ this Saturday, with kick-off set for 11:00 (UK).
We face a Leeds side yet to taste defeat in the league this season, but also have our sights set on maintaining our own 100% start to the campaign.
Muir has been at the centre of that success, grabbing two goals in our first three from the left flank in a season where he hopes to challenge at the top of the scoring charts.
But the winger has also formed a devastating partnership with centre-forward Matty Warhurst, who grabbed hat-trick in City’s most recent victory over Middlesbrough.
Speaking ahead of our clash with Leeds, he’s explained the secret behind that relationship’s success.
“It’s been good. He’s a proper poacher in the box so he helps with my assists. He’s always in the right place,” Muir said of his team-mate.

“We’ve started well and scored a lot of goals while not conceding one. We’ve been quite dominant in those games as well, which is good.
“I always want to contribute to the team with goals and assists because it helps the team win.
“But also performance-wise, I’ve set myself a target of being the top scorer in the league.”
Muir and co. lock horns with a Leeds side who have taken seven points from their first three matches in 2023/24.
The winger is under no illusions that City will be handed a difficult assignment at the weekend but is also relishing the challenge that they’re sure to pose.
He said: “They’ll be full of confidence because they haven’t been beaten yet.
“They might be a tiny bit sharper than us as well because they’ve played four in the league, and we’ve only played two.
“It should be a good game.”
