Ben Wilkinson’s side face the Villans in a 19:00 (UK) kick-off hoping to take our winning run to five-straight PL2 matches.
That sequence began in late January with a win over Stoke City, before further triumphs against Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and, most recently, Nottingham Forest.
Indeed, City have lost just once in PL2 since the turn of the year, with that form rocketing us up the table into seventh, with games in hand.
Villa, meanwhile, currently sit 18th but have only played 13 times in PL2, in comparison to City’s 15.
The hosts were beaten 4-3 by Newcastle United last time out, but had only lost once in the league since October before that tie, so will offer a stern test this Friday.
