City duo Callum Doyle and Liam Delap have both been named in the 21-strong England squad for the forthcoming FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Argentina.

Central defender Doyle has spent the season on loan at Coventry, helping the Midlands outfit reach the Championship play-offs.

Centre forward Delap meanwhile has just competed a loan spell at Championship outfit Preston North End after an earlier stint at Stoke City.

Doyle and Delap were both part of the England squad that won the Under-19 European Championships last summer.

Former City duo Sam Edozie (Southampton) and Darko Gyabi (Leeds) have also been named in the squad by head coach Ian Foster.
