City will face Chelsea in the Under-18 Premier League National Final on Friday 22 May, with kick-off set for 19:00 (UK).

Stamford Bridge will play how to the final that will see the U18 North title winners travel to the U18 South title winners.

It’s been an incredible 2025/26 for Oliver Reiss’ side who lifted the North trophy for a second successive season.

Our young Blues had a strong start to the campaign, winning five successive matches including a thrilling 4-2 comeback win over title rivals Manchester United.

Another eye-catching run of form over the festive period saw us win seven matches on the bounce as we continued to lead the way in the race for the North title.

A couple of difficult results, which saw our young Blues drop points to United, Derby and Leeds intensified the race for the title.

But Reiss’ youngsters showed incredible resolve, togetherness and showcased some amazing football to win four league games that sealed the title before going on to complete the season with 60 points from 26 games.

Our opponents in the National Final, Chelsea, have had an equally impressive league campaign.

In their 28 matches, they won 21, drew four and lost three to see them secure the South title with 67 points over second-place Tottenham Hotspur who totalled 54 points.

This will be our second meeting with the London outfit this season.

City ran out 4-1 winners in our FA Youth Cup fifth round clash at Kingsmeadow.

After a thrilling first half, which included fantastic football from both teams, Reiss’ side finally found the breakthrough on 46 minutes through Floyd Samba.

Goals from Dante Headley, Xavier Parker and Ryan McAidoo put City firmly in the driving seat with Ryan Kavuma-McQueen’s late strike a consolation for Chelsea.
