The young City stars were recognised for their special contributions in yet another incredible season for the Elite Development Squad (EDS) and Under-18s.
Bobb was named the EDS Player of the Year, for the second successive season after another brilliant campaign as City claimed the PL2 title for a third year running.
The Norwegian Under-21 international made 25 appearances for Brian Barry-Murphy’s side, contributing an incredible 17 assists, the most in PL2, and scoring six goals.
He also played in each of our seven games in the UEFA Youth League as we reached the round of 16 as well as appearing in our three EFL Trophy matches.
PL2 leading scorer Borges was the other award winner from the EDS side, being named as the Players’ Player of the Season.
After making 11 appearances in the previous title-winning campaign, the exciting Portuguese winger made an even bigger contribution this season.
He scored 21 goals from 24 appearances, including four in a 6-1 victory over Manchester United and two in the 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers that secured the PL2 title.
His UEFA Youth League contribution kicked off in style with a hat-trick against Sevilla and he claimed an assist in each of the six games he started.
Borges also claimed another hat-trick against Derby County in the EFL Trophy in what was a thrilling campaign for the 19-year-old who was the Player’s Player of the season for the under-18s in 2020/21.
The Under-18s Player of the Year honour was awarded to defender Alleyne as Ben Wilkinson’s side were crowned Premier League National champions for a third successive season.
Alleyne, 17, featured in all-but three of the under-18s league games including the final when City fought from a goal down to beat West Ham 2-1 after extra-time at the Etihad Stadium.
The cultured centre-back also made three appearances in PL2 and three more in the UEFA Youth League as well as being a key figure in the FA Youth Cup run to the semi-finals where we narrowly beaten by a 120th-minute winner at Arsenal.
Under-18s captain O’Reilly took the Player’s Player of the season award after his influential role in the side’s success.
The 18-year-old scored 10 goals and made 11 assists from just 19 league appearances and also scored twice in the UEFA Youth League.
Among his goals were some stunning and important strikes as City were pushed hard for the Northern division title by Sunderland.
In the closing weeks, O’Reilly hit an injury-time scorpion kick to snatch a crucial victory at Middlesbrough, two wonder-strikes in a 3-1 win over Manchester United as well as the opening goal in the 4-2 win over rivals Sunderland.
Bury-born defender Lewis was named as the Scholar of the Year after becoming the latest Academy player to become a regular for the first team.
After impressing our summer tour to the United States, Lewis made his debut for Pep Guardiola’s side as a substitute in our 4-0 Premier League win over Bournemouth in August.
He made a first senior start in November against Sevilla in the Champions League where he scored in a 3-1 victory.
His goal made history as aged 17 years and 346 days, he became the youngest player to score on his Champions League debut in the history of the competition.
Lewis has now made 20 appearances for the first team and was praised by Guardiola who called his energy “contagious”.
