Ben Wilkinson’s Elite Development Squad welcome our cross-city rivals to the Joie Stadium on Friday 8 May, with kick-off set for 19:00 (UK).
It’s been an impressive season for our Under-21s who placed third in the League Phase, with our opponents placing second in an equally positive campaign.
And after City beat Arsenal and Aston Villa in the play-off Round of 16 and quarter-final, with United overcoming Sunderland and Crystal Palace to set up an all-Manchester semi-final.

City will be looking to seek revenge from our last league encounter with the Red Devils which saw Wilkinson’s side fall to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Leigh Sports Village.
And with United determine to stop City in our tracks as we look to retain the play-off title, Friday’s clash is set to be an exciting one.

HOW TO GET YOUR FREE TICKET
All 2025/26 Men’s Season Ticket Members and all active Cityzens Matchday and Junior members can claim one free ticket for every FA Youth Cup home match and EDS match.
Tickets will go on sale on a match-by-match basis in advance of each individual match. Once each match goes on sale, all Cityzens will be able to purchase tickets. Cityzens can purchase up to six tickets for each match.
When each match goes on sale, the Fixtures page will be updated with ‘Buy Now’ alongside that match. Click the link and you will be directed to the seating plan.
