Lauris Coggin’s Under-18s travel across the city as we face Manchester United with kick-off set for 11:00 (UK) on Saturday 22 August, our first away trip of the new campaign.
Coggin and his team have been hard at work during pre-season, taking part in intense training drills and high-quality friendlies as the squad look to make a strong start to our title defence.
But as we’ve seen in previous head-to-heads it will no doubt be an eventful game.

We saw a dramatic 4-2 victory and 3-1 loss as we faced the Reds last term.
The two sides continued to battle in the league as we both hoped to secure the title, but it would be City who came out on top earning four more points than our rivals.
So, who will claim the points in our first Manchester derby of the 2026/27 campaign.
CITY+ subscribers will be able to find out on Saturday 22 August...
