The EDS finished the PL2 season on Sunday 6 May with an emphatic 3-0 win over Arsenal.
We secured the title in our 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers two weeks prior and with a 4-3 win in our final home game at the Academy Stadium, we topped the table with 59 points.
And to celebrate, some of Brian Barry-Murphy’s team travelled to Castlefield to take in some of the sights and history of the area and reflect on another successful season.
