City’s single leg Round of 16 tie is scheduled to commence at 14:00 (UK) on Wednesday 5 March, with the match also available to view live on CITY+.
And ahead of our second knockout stage game of the 2024/25 season, Ben Wilkinson’s squad has travelled to the South/Southwest U19 Bundesliga champions in our latest European test in the prestigious competition.
City’s knockout stage journey so far has included a dramatic penalty shootout win over FC Midtjylland.

After being reduced to 10 late in the game, Midtjylland took a 2-1 lead before a late equaliser from Matty Warhurst took the game to penalties. Goalkeeper Oliver Whatmuff saved a spot kick before converting City’s fifth to send us through to the Round of 16.
Excited to be back out on the European stage, the team were in high spirits during our training session at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadium – which will play host to our encounter with Hoffenheim on Wednesday afternoon.
