Gallery: EDS lift third consecutive Premier League 2 trophy!

City’s Elite Development Squad celebrated our PL2 title triumph for a third consecutive year at the Academy Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The presentation took place following a thrilling 4-3 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in our final home game of the season.

Josh Adam bagged himself a brace with Ben Knight and Micah Hamilton also on target for Brian Barry-Murphy’s side.

City were declared champions with two games left to play after an emphatic 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers earlier this month.

The trophy lift topped off what has been a magnificent season for our Under-23s who have tallied 77 goals with our remaining game of the season against Arsenal to be played next month.
