Thursday evening was a night to remember for our young Blues who beat cross-city rivals Manchester United 2-1.
Floyd Samba fired City in front with a phenomenal 25-yard free-kick on 40 minutes, but United responded quickly.
Godwill Kukonki’s headed goal two minutes later saw the two teams head into the break with the score tied.

City continued to look the better side as we quickly approached the possibility of extra-time.
But the experienced, composed Reigan Heskey provided the magic moment on 87 minutes when he fired home from close range to seal the Club’s fifth FA Youth Cup trophy.
At full-time the team celebrated with a trophy lift in front of thousands of fans followed by plenty of opportunities to be snapped by our club photographers.
