City Elite Development Squad midfielder Kian Breckin has been shortlisted for the PL2 Player of the Month award for March.

The City youngster enjoyed a hugely impressive month with Brian Barry-Murphy’s exciting side.

The 19-year-old proved a key creative figure as City enjoyed two superb Premier League 2 victories – the first a 5-1 triumph away at West Ham, where Breckin bagged a brilliant brace.

He and City then followed that up with a magnificent 6-0 demolition derby win at home to Manchester United where Breckin was on target once again to take his overall tally of league goals for the season to seven.

That sequence ensured City’s EDS remained in top spot as we close in on what would be an unprecedented third PL2 title in a row.
