In his first full season in City’s Under-21s side, the England Youth international has been a mainstay figure in Ben Wilkinson’s back line.
Noble has featured in all but two of our 20 league fixtures and since February, has led the team out each week.
He has orchestrated play from the back, totalling 1497 passes in the League Phase, more than any other player in the competition.
And his eye-catching, ball-playing ability has seen his tally two assists this term too.
Defensively, he helped City earn eight clean sheets in the League Phase, five of which were consecutive, to help our young Blues climb the League Phase table before placing third overall and as a result, secure our place in the play-offs.
Now looking to retain the title, which would make City the first club to do so since the newly-formatted PL2 was introduced prior to the 2023/24 season, Noble has played every minute of City’s comeback wins over Arsenal and Aston Villa.
The nominees Noble is up against are Farhaan Ali Wahid (Fulham), Logan Briggs (Leicester), Braiden Graham (Everton), Shumaria Mhueka (Chelsea), Kieran Morrison (Liverpool), Harrison Murray-Campbell (Chelsea) and George Pickford (Everton).
The winner of the award will be announced at the Premier League Youth Development Conference on Tuesday 12 May, with Noble hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous City Player of the Season recipients Liam Delap and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey.
