With the October international break underway, some of City’s Academy cohort have travelled to join their various national teams for the next two weeks of fixtures.

But this hasn’t stopped the mix of EDS and Under-18s players who have stayed at the City Football Academy from continuing training and keeping our focus on league games when club football returns later this month.

INTERNATIONAL BREAK | ACADEMY PLAYERS ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Ben Wilkinson‘s EDS squad are in fantastic form. Our most recent game saw us leapfrog league leaders West Ham and into the top spot of the Premier League 2 table. City’s 4-1 win over the Hammers was our fifth successive league win in what has been an impressive few weeks of football.

For Oliver Reiss and his Under-18s, the young boys in blue have been in similar fine form. Our 4-1 win over Brighton on Saturday in the Under-18 Premier League Cup was our fourth win on the bounce in all competitions.

With both teams keen to keep momentum, the squads were hard at work keeping match fitness sharp.
