City’s Under-18s will face fellow Under-18 Premier League North side Everton in the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup.

Oliver Reiss’ side secured our place in the upcoming round of the prestigious competition after a thrilling 4-1 triumph over Chelsea at Kingsmeadow.

It was an action-packed second half after neither side could find the opening goal in what was an entertaining opening 45 minutes.

Goals from Floyd Samba, Dante Headley, Xavier Parker and Ryan McAidoo put City firmly in the driving seat.

City almost recorded an equally rewarding clean sheet against the Under-18 Premier League South leaders, but an added time Ryan Kavuma-McQueen goal denied our young boys in blue the luxury, but it didn’t dampen the mood in what was a fantastic result for the Academy.

Prior to that, City have overcome Arsenal and Fulham on home soil, and will be looking to do the same against 4th-place Everton when we welcome to the Joie Stadium.

Everton confirmed their place in the quarter-final with a 4-2 extra-time win over Ipswich Town at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier this month, with the Toffees looking to win the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 1998.

It will be our second encounter with Everton in 2025/26, with our first a 2-1 win at home in the league, courtesy of goals from Headley and F. Samba.

Details of a confirmed date and kick-off time for the game will be available in due course. Keep across mancity.com and the Official Man City App for updates on tickets and match information.
