The left-footed centre-half, who joined City as an Under-12, will link up with the Eerste Divisie side for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign.
After signing his scholarship in July 2020, Luke moved into the EDS squad for the 2020/21 season and helped the Under-21s win the Premier League 2 title and also featured in the first team matchday squad on four occasions.
He subsequently made his senior City debut in September 2021 in our 6-1 Carabao Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers.
The 19-year-old went on to play twice more for Pep Guardiola’s men that term, coming on in a 4-1 away win over Swindon in the third round of the FA Cup and the 0-0 draw with Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg.
He signed a new contract extension with the Club in June 2022 and spent the first half of the 2022/23 season on loan with Championship side Huddersfield Town and the second half of the campaign on loan with League One outfit Bolton Wanderers.
He made 15 appearances in total across both of those spells, scoring his first senior goal for Wanderers in the 5-0 home victory over MK Dons in February 2023.
Everyone at Manchester City wishes Luke well in his loan spell.
