View the best images from Friday's training session as our Under-18s put in the final preparations ahead of our Manchester derby.

Lauris Coggin and our Under-18s take on our cross-city rivals on Saturday 22 August, with kick-off at Carrington set for 11:00 (UK).

Our first Manchester derby of the season will be available for fans to watch live on mancity.com and the Official Man City App, with the stream to start just before the game gets under way.  

A staple fixture in the calendar, title rivals Manchester United will be looking to hand our young blues an early blow in our title defence. 

But with one game already under our belts, which saw us beat Liverpool 2-1 at the City Football Academy, Coggin’s team are already in a positive flow as we head into our second game of the campaign.

For United, on the other hand, Saturday’s derby clash will be their first set of Under-18 Premier League North minutes this season.

With the added spice of our upcoming fixture a red versus blue affair, the team went the extra yard in our final training session ahead of the match.
