Training: EDS gear up for Barnsley

Monday saw City’s Elite Development Squad go through our final preparations ahead of Tuesday night’s latest EFL Trophy clash away at Barnsley.

The City youngsters made a fine start to this season’s competition last month recording a 4-2 penalty shoot out win away at Grimsby after the sides had fought out a 2-2 draw in normal time.

Next up for Brian Barry-Murphy’s charges is a trip to Oakwell to tackle an impressive Barnsley side who have started the new League One season in fine form.

It promises to be another testing but valuable examination for the City youngsters.
