2020/21 proved a season to remember for Manchester City’s Under-18s.
Carlos Vicens’ talented young charges secured back-to-back Under-18 Premier League North titles with a crucial 1-0 win at Burnley in our last game of the campaign, to ensure we finished a point ahead of Manchester United and so retained the crown.
The City youngsters then went one step further and were crowned Under-18 Premier League National champions after a fine 3-1 win over Fulham in the showpiece final.
Our double trophy success was just reward for all the hard work put in by the players along with Vicens and his backroom staff.
And it was all the more admirable for being achieved in the wake of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
