“Manchester City are such a big club and the expectation is that we get to finals, so I think the pressure is what comes with that,” said the exciting teenage winger.

“I think that’s all good for me and the team – it means you get used to it at an early age.

“That means as you get older, hopefully you will be able to deal with it.

“We are all really excited for the last couple of months of the season starting with Tuesday. We have a lot of big games coming up and we just can’t wait to play.

“On our days off we want to get back into training so that we can prepare for the next game – we are all just excited to play.

“But it’s definitely not going to be an easy game.

“We played Stoke in the league earlier on in the season and they were very tough opponents, so we are all expecting a really difficult game on Tuesday.

“But if we work hard, we can hopefully get the right result.”

Having moved to City from Millwall, Edozie has gone from strength to strength in his first season at the Club.

As well as being a key component of the side that has reached both the Under 18 Premier League Cup final and which currently sits top of the league standings, Edozie has also been involved in our FA Youth Cup campaign with City looking forward to a semi-final trip to Blackburn.

And he says he couldn’t have wished for a better first year in sky blue.

“The move here has been everything that I expected and more,” Edozie continued.

“I knew coming to City wasn’t going to be easy and that it would take some time to find my form, but I think I have done that now and I’m really enjoying my football.

“We want to Croatia for a pre-season trip and that helped a lot in terms of settling in. It helped me to get to know the boys on a personal level and I made firm friends from there.

“In any walk of life, if you are happy with where you are and with the people you are working with, then you are going to go from strength to strength and I think that’s what happened with me.

“We’ve all got good chemistry within the group. Everyone likes each other – and we get on really well.

“Because we’re winning, we are very confident. We are still in all the Cup competitions and doing well in the league, confidence within the team is very high and we’re all excited to see what we could achieve this season.

“And hopefully the best is yet to come for all of us.”
