Title triumphs don’t get more dramatic than Saturday afternoon’s 4-3 comeback win over Derby County.
In tandem, City found ourselves trailing 2-0 just before the 40-minute mark as title rivals Manchester United drew 4-4 at Everton.
But Oliver Reiss’ side showed togetherness and resilience as Finlay Gorman, Ryan McAidoo and Matty Warhurst fired City ahead late on.
The twists and turns continued as Tristan Gill scored an equaliser for Derby.
With the title win looking set to be on hold, another moment of magic from Warhurst saw his half turn finish fly into the bottom corner to send City’s bench and fans crazy in added time.
Reiss and his squad will receive medals and the North title trophy following the completion of the final Gameweek - which will see us travel to Newcastle next month.
But, the lack of silverware didn’t stop City from celebrating.
