Enzo Maresca’s side face the Reds in a Premier League 2 contest on Friday 9 April (kick-off 19:00 UK), which will be available to watch live on CITY+.
The We’re Not Really Here show has been running since the Premier League restart in June 2020, providing a City-focused perspective to fans’ matchday experience for each and every first team game.
Friday’s special edition will put the EDS in the spotlight as they continue their bid to lift the Club’s first Premier League 2 title.
Maresca’s youngsters, which include Liam Delap, Tommy Doyle and Cole Palmer, are five points clear of Blackburn Rovers at the top of the table with five games remaining.
The latest We’re Not Really Here show will see three men who are familiar with City’s Academy set-up provide the benefit of their experience and insight as the current crop of stars bid to stretch their unbeaten run to 11-games with victory over Liverpool.
Onuoha joined City as a 10-year-old and progressed through the youth ranks to make 116 first appearances, whilst Lescott, in his role as Loans Manager, is actively involved in the development of the Club’s young players.
Our final guest is more famous for his music career, with George having scored two UK No.1s during his time in The Wanted, but the Swinton-born singer is also a former City Academy player.
The 32-year-old was in the same age group as Micah Richards and Daniel Sturridge and following his release played for Preston North End, where an injury led him to pursue his music career.
The trio will join host Cel Spellman in the studio, with the pre-match show beginning one hour before kick-off at 18:00 (UK).
As usual, our panel will return at half-time for a brief summary of the opening 45-minutes, before reconvening for post-match analysis after the full-time whistle.
We’re Not Really Here is available to watch for free across all our digital platforms.
All five of our EDS’ remaining Premier League 2 games will be broadcast live on CITY+, meaning you can follow every minute of the title race.
