The Blues’ last outing in this cup competition was a loss away to Bolton two weeks ago, when a much-changed side including several U18s regulars went down 3-1 in Leyland.
Since that fixture Attilio Lombardo’s men have recorded three wins in three.
Denis Suarez has been in blistering form, adding another goal to his tally in the 3-1 victory over Norwich on Friday after his brace in the previous league win over Stoke City.
The young Blues have also booked their place in the semi-final of the Lancashire Senior Cup since their last outing in this competition.
The Manchester Senior Cup is not a knock out tournament, but whoever tops the table after five games each takes home the trophy.
With victory over Stockport County on penalties in November, City have ensured they can still be crowned winners if they take maximum points from their last three games against Oldham, Bury and holders Manchester United.
Kick off is at 7.00pm at Boundary Park. We’ll bring you goal updates on twitter as well as a match report after the full time whistle.
