EDS midfielder George Evans has joined Crewe Alexandra on loan until February 3.
Having been at City for over a decade, Evans has progressed through the academy age groups to gain a place in Patrick Vieira’s squad, and made the bench for the first team against Ajax in the Amsterdam Arena last season.
Son of former player and physio Ronnie Evans, George has represented England at under-16 and under-17 level, and was called up for the under-19 age group last term.

Unfortunately, in other news, EDS defender George Swan has suffered a broken leg while on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
