Patrick Vieira’s men have home advantage for the u21 Premier League play-off semi-final.

Once again, the Etihad Stadium will host the Elite Development Squad as they bid to set up a final meeting with Liverpool or Manchester United.

Entry is free for Seasoncard holders and for everyone else it’s £3 for adults and £1 for concessions for this 19:15 kick-off but as proceeds all go to Stephen’s Story - a teenage cancer charity -  if you don’t pay on the night, please donate to Stephen’s Story by visiting his Just Giving page here or you can donate £5 by texting STEPHEN to 70500.

The Blues secured their spot in the semi-final with their 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon which meant that they finished in fourth place in the division.

City’s semi-final was meant to take place at Stamford Bridge due to Chelsea u21s topping the table, but the Londoners’ home UEFA Champions League and Premier League commitments forced the game to be moved to Manchester.

It will be the Blues’ sixth appearance at the first-team stadium this season and they have won four and lost one of their previous five encounters there.

Chelsea inflicted City’s fourth league defeat of the season when the sides met at Stamford Bridge in October, edging out the Blues with a narrow 2-1 win.

Sky Sports will broadcast the game, so fans further afield can tune in.
