City EDS will be looking to extend their incredible winning run to ten games on Monday afternoon when they travel to Reading.

Patrick Vieira‘s men last tasted defeat in the league back in October and have won their last nine games on the bounce.

Their recent successes have seen the Blues climb to fifth in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League table, trailing table-toppers Fulham by six points but with a game in hand.

Last time out, the Blues smashed in-form Bolton with goals from Seko Fofana, Sinan Bytyqi, Devante Cole and Jordi Hiwula securing a 4-0 win.

Reading are also enjoying a fine run and are unbeaten in five, winning three of those matches.

Last weekend, their Premier League Cup quarter-final clash with Wolves was postponed so they will have had a week’s rest over the Blues.

However, the Royals are performing much better in the cup than they are in the league as the Berkshire outfit currently lie second bottom in the table.

With City on such a scintillating run, Vieira’s men will be looking to return to Manchester with a victory as they bid to reach the league summit.

Kick-off is at 1pm GMT behind closed doors at Reading’s training ground. We’ll have live updates on Twitter, plus a full-match report on mcfc.co.uk.
