City Elite Development Squad return to action on Sunday afternoon with a trip to West London to take on Fulham.

Patrick Vieira’s side will be aiming to make it three wins on the bounce when they face off against the Cottagers at Motspur Park.

Fulham defeated City at Hyde 2-1 last season, so a dose of revenge will be on the agenda for the travelling Blues.

At the time of writing, City lie in third place in Division One after games, a place above this weekend’s opponents, following a thrilling 4-3 win away at Liverpool ten days ago.

Goals from Sinan Bytyqi, Thierry Ambrose, Mathias Bossaerts and Jordy Hiwula won the day for Vieira’s boys to catapult them up the league table.

The City boss will be without Hiwula, who agreed terms on a loan deal with Yeovil on Thursday, meaning Ambrose or Jose Angel Pozo are likely to lead the line.

Many of those involved in City under-19s’ UEFA Youth League win over AS Roma are also expected to be included in the line-up, including goalscorer Oli Ntcham.

Kick-off at Motspur Park (KT3 6PT) is at 3pm (BST) and entrance is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
