Norwich City are the visitors as Patrick Vieira’s side go in search of their first victory of the Barclays u21 Premier League season.
City rallied to rescue a 1-1 draw last time out against West Ham at the A J Bell Stadium and next they welcome the Canaries to Hyde’s Ewen Fields.
That followed the 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the end of August and the narrow opening day defeat to Chelsea.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both beaten Norwich so far this season, leaving Friday night’s opponents rooted to the foot of this fledgling league table.
City are likely to be boosted by the return of Shay Facey to the centre of defence after he served his one-match suspension last time out.
We’ll have live Twitter updates on the game over at @MCFC, as well as a match report and highlights here on mcfc.co.uk.
