Norwich City u21s v City EDS (7pm kick-off)
Patrick Vieira’s under-21 selection will aim to get back to winning ways following three-successive defeats with a tricky away assignment at Norwich City.
It promises to be a great experience for City’s youngsters as the Canaries have enjoyed attendances of up to 10,000 supporters for their Barclays U21 Premier League games at Carrow Road this season.
The teams met at Hyde FC in September and Vieira will be hoping for a repeat of City’s 4-1 win they enjoyed that day courtesy of brace from Sinan Bytyqi, as well as goals from Seko Fofana and Jordy Hiwula.
The away side go into this one having lost out by one-goal margins in their last three games against Sunderland, Leicester and Liverpool but know that a win could put them back within a point of the table top.
Thierry Ambrose hopes to be back in the fold after his month-long elbow injury which was sustained in the first-team’s friendly win over Hamburg.
Norwich lie second bottom in the league standings and will be chasing a first league win since 6 November last year.

City u18s v Wolves (2pm kick-off)
Earlier in the day, City under-18s are in action at City Football Academy, with Wolverhampton Wanderers providing the opposition.
Jason Wilcox’s side tasted victory in the Barclays Premier Academy League on Saturday courtesy a thumping 3-0 victory at Stoke.
Goals from Paolo Fernandes, Aaron Nemane and a debut strike from Joe Hardy secured the three points at Clayton Wood.
It was the same 3-0 scoreline when City met Wolves at the Sir Jack Hayward training ground back in September.
City can no longer catch runaway leaders Middlesbrough at the top of the table but Saturday’s win over Stoke did propel them back into the top three ahead of Manchester United in fourth.
The clean sheet also ensured that the boy Blues have the tightest defence in the league, although they have played two games less than a couple of sides above them in the division.
Wolves are in eighth place in the division 11 points behind City and they lost 7-1 to leaders Boro last time out, meaning their wait for a point in 2015 goes on.
