The 18-year-old was in the right place to tap home on 68 minutes, after Dujon Sterling’s own goal had cancelled out Easah Suliman’s opener.
It was Nmecha’s second big goal in successive games having scored the winner in the semi-final win over Czech Republic with an audacious backheel two days ago.
Fellow City academy star Isaac Buckley-Ricketts also started the final in Georgia before being replaced by Marcus Edwards with six minutes left.
Nmecha said: “It’s a fantastic feeling and the whole team has just been amazing.
“Everyone put a shift in and worked even harder in the last 10 minutes or so after the red card and all our subs have done well again.
“I was on the bench for the first few games as were some of the other lads who played in the final. Everyone’s been amazing. I didn’t expect Mason to pass the ball – he normally puts those away himself!”
