England began the competition last Wednesday with a 3-0 victory over Kjetil Haug‘s Norway with Nmecha playing the full 90 minutes and Buckley-Ricketts joining the action in the second half.
They followed that with yet another 3-0 win - this time over a Spain side that included Brahim Diaz in the starting XI and Manu Garcia on the bench - with Buckley-Ricketts playing the final few minutes.
Although that guaranteed safe passage for the Three Lions, they still finished off the group stage with a 5-1 triumph over Belarus with early goals from both Nmecha and Buckley-Ricketts.
Spain ended the group in second place with Norway in third and Belarus in fourth.
England join hosts Georgia as the first two of the eight to qualify for this summer’s tournament.
