The defender says confidence is high and believes his team mates are ready for the showdown in Italy.
Simon Davies’ side have won 100 per cent of their matches in the competition so far after beating Feyenoord, Shakhtar Donetsk and the Italian outfit, who they downed 3-1 at the Academy Stadium in the previous fixture.
City sit top of Group F on nine points, five points clear of second place Feyenoord, and Francis feels their recent results in the Youth League have provided a confidence boost.
“I think we are all looking forward to it,” the teenager explained.
“In the Champions League we have won three out of three so I think confidence levels are quite high going into this one.”
“We’ve had a few tough performances in the Under 23s league so the squad’s a bit different but we are confident going into the game.”
Most recently, Davies’ side suffered a 2-1 defeat away at West Ham United, but the defender thinks that a few squad additions will bring new energy to the Under 19s.
“Most of the squad which played at the weekend will play against Napoli,” Francis stated.
“I think there are a few lads moving up to the squad which always gives us a boost as they are really energetic and ready for it.”
“I think we will be alright – we will hopefully pull together to get four out of four in the Champions League.”
City face Napoli on Wednesday 1 November at the Lanielli Stadium, with kick-off at 1pm, before a two week international break.
